About Tetris
Tetris is the puzzle game that defined a genre. Rotate and slot falling tetrominoes to complete solid lines, clear them before the stack reaches the top, and ride the speed as it climbs. Simple to learn, impossible to put down.
How to play
Arrow keys move and rotate the falling piece; Space hard-drops. Complete full horizontal lines to clear them.
Tips & strategy
- Keep your stack flat and leave one column open for the long I-piece.
- Hold the I-piece to clear four lines at once — a Tetris — when you can.
- Hard-drop only once you're sure of placement; misdrops stack up fast.
- Look at the next-piece preview and plan its spot before the current one lands.
